The transparency of HDPE film can be improved by the appropriate amount of pipe filling masterbatch

The master material calcium carbonate is widely used as inorganic filler in plastic products because of its low price, white color and good comprehensive properties. The calcium carbonate filler masterbatch used in the production of plastic products has the advantages of simplifying the process, improving the mixing effect, improving the production efficiency and reducing the dust flying, so it is favored by many processing enterprises. The high-fill calcium carbonate masterbatch can be used for the production of extruded pipes, films, injection molded parts and hollow products. So far, this filler masterbatch has been a mature technical topic from theoretical research to development, production and application. The basic particle unit of the masterbatch consists of four parts, namely, the filler core, the coupling layer, the dispersion layer and the mixing layer. Packing core (this article refers to CaCO3) mainly plays the role of increasing capacity, improving rigidity, reducing cost and so on. The effects of two kinds of calcium carbonate with different fineness on the properties of PP masterbatch were studied, and the processing fluidity and mechanical properties were investigated by adding them to PP proporently. The filling modification effect of calcium carbonate on PP was analyzed.


Compared with ordinary filled masterbatch, transparent filled masterbatch has a greater feature that it is added to PP and PE, which has little influence on its transparency, and can be widely used in film, sheet, pipe, container and other fields. If used in PE film, the appropriate amount of addition can improve the transparency of HDPE film, and has little effect on the transparency of LDPE film. At the same time, it has a good surface finish and balanced mechanical properties. These are the existing ordinary filler masterbatch can not be compared. It can be predicted that the emergence of this filler masterbatch will have a greater impact on plastic filling and its downstream application fields.

How to use:


The masterbatch is directly mixed with the plastic raw material and can be processed and produced. It is generally recommended to add 5% to 30%, and the appropriate proportion can also be added according to specific requirements.


Storage conditions:


Store in a clean, ventilated, dry, cool and clean place. Do not allow masterbatch packaging damage and open storage, to avoid sun exposure, rain.
