POE molecular structure properties


The particularity of POE molecular structure makes its comprehensive performance quite excellent


As a toughening material,POE has the characteristics of small addition amount, obvious toughening effect, and small impact on the performance of the base resin, etc. The emergence of this new polymer has aroused widespread attention in the global recycled particle community, and also brought a new concept for the modification and processing of polymers.


Compared with other traditional elastomers, POE has the following main characteristics:


There is no unsaturated bond in the molecular chain structure, contains fewer tertiary carbon atoms, and has better weather resistance and thermal stability. Commercial POE is granular, can be directly added to polypropylene (PP) and other granular polymers, mixing more uniform, faster, high material transparency, uncrosslinked POE density than SBS and EVA 10%~20% lower; It can be crosslinked by peroxide, silane and radiation methods, and the thermal aging and ultraviolet climate aging properties of crosslinked POE are better than EPR and EPDM. Strong melt strength, shear sensitivity and narrow relative molecular mass distribution make the edge of the material not easy to curl during processing and make up for the defects of the material easy to sag and difficult to blow film when extruding sheet. The mechanical property balance and processability are excellent. The general elastomer Mooney has low viscosity and good processability, while the mechanical properties are poor. The Mooney viscosity of POE is between 5 and 35, but the mechanical properties can be comparable to high Mooney viscosity thermoplastic styrene butadiene rubber.

POE regenerated particle performance description


Used for the modification and toughening of various recycled particles by injection molding, can effectively improve the toughness, cold resistance and impact resistance of various recycled particles, and tear strength, good compatibility, can be added in any proportion, the effect is close to the new material, application: can be with PP, PE.PA. Blending (5%~8%) to achieve the purpose of modification and toughening, polyolefin POE as an additive, can be used to blend polyethylene, polypropylene and other thermoplastics to improve the physical properties of the product, can also be used as a soft forming material resin, POE is generally used for some variegous black broken PP material toughening.

POE recycled material is metallocene as catalyst ethylene -A olefin copolymer, the copolymer has low crystallinity, narrow molecular weight division, its short branch chain division is uniform, is a superior performance of polyolefin elastomer, in terms of physical properties of POE recycled material its product properties are as follows:


1, POE has the general characteristics of thermoplastic elastomers


2, low price and relatively small density, so the volume price is low


3, excellent heat resistance, cold resistance, wide temperature range


4, weather resistance, good aging resistance


5, oil resistance, compression deformation and wear resistance is not good

POE regenerated particles for use


POE recycled material main application areas include automotive parts, packaging materials, municipal engineering and building materials, sporting goods, stationery, toys, household supplies, mainly used to modify PP and PA, PE in the automotive industry to make bumpers, fenders, steering wheels, pads and so on. The heat resistance of wire and cable industry requires high insulation layer and sheath. It is also used for industrial products such as hose, conveyor belt, tape and moulded products. Medical equipment and household appliances, stationery, toys, etc., as well as modified PE low temperature, toughness production film, etc.
