I. Definition

EPS particles, also known as exploitable polystyrene, take polystyrene resin as the base material, add foaming agent and other auxiliary materials, and can be heated into foam particles.

The foam particles after the foaming of EPS particles are mostly used in household appliances such as TV sets, refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, electronic instruments, precision instruments, glassware, ceramic products, art and other civil light industrial products; Mariculture for fish steaks, seafood freezing, vegetable preservation, incubator, cold storage, refrigerated cars, railway buses and other packaging and insulation.

EPS particles are mainly used to fill plush toys, hand-made products, home textile filling and so on.

3. Advantages

After foaming, EPS foam particles have excellent properties such as light weight, water resistance, heat insulation, sound insulation, heat preservation, earthquake resistance, floating, shock load absorption and aging resistance.

Unfoamed EPS has the advantages of non-toxic, tasteless, no static electricity, no odor, no sound, good feel, non-toxic, degradable, flame retardant, uniform particle size, no chips and so on.
